ClaMo Music Celebrates Its 12th Anniversary with Three Piano Concertos

ClaMo Music will celebrate its 12th anniversary with a special concert on December 14th, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. at the Víctor Villegas Auditorium and Convention Centre in Murcia. Together with the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia and under the baton of American conductor Mark Laycock, three pianists will perform three great piano concertos in a single evening. The programme travels through three very different sound worlds: the elegance and radiance of Mozart, the power of Prokofiev and the romantic intensity of Medtner.José Jiménez Castejón (Murcia, Spain) will perform Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major, K. 467. Alexandra Segal (Russia/Israel) will take on Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in C major, Op. 26. Philipp Lynov (Russia) will close the evening with Nikolai Medtner’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 50, dedicated to Sergei Rachmaninoff. This last work will be performed for the first time in the Region of Murcia. It is one of the great jewels of the 20th-century repertoire for piano and orchestra, hugely demanding for the soloist and a rare presence in concert halls around the world. All three pianists share a bond with ClaMo Music: each has been an award winner at the ClaMo Región de Murcia International Piano Competition, and they now return to the stage of the Víctor Villegas Auditorium to meet the audience again.
