Clamo Music X Anniversary. Concert for Piano and Orchestra in Murcia
ClaMo Music celebrates its 10th Anniversary with three major symphonic piano concerts alongside the Murcia Region Symphony Orchestra
ClaMo Music, in collaboration with the Murcia Region Symphony Orchestra, is proud to celebrate its 10th Anniversary with an unforgettable event on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 8:00 PM at the prestigious Víctor Villegas Auditorium in Murcia. This concert will be a unique opportunity to enjoy three masterpieces of the symphonic repertoire for piano and orchestra, two of which will be performed for the first time in the Murcia region.
The program for this special event includes the Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor, K.466 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of the most emblematic pieces by the Austrian composer. The soloist performing this work will be the talented pianist Seolhwa Kim from Korea, who will captivate the audience with her impeccable technique and artistic sensitivity.
The evening will continue with the Piano Concerto No. 4 in D minor, Op. 70 by Anton Rubinstein, performed by the outstanding pianist Anna Leyerer from Austria. This lesser-known work in Murcia’s concert halls promises to be a revelation for classical music lovers.
The grand finale will feature a work that will mark a milestone in the musical history of the Murcia region: the Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 17 by Ignacy Jan Paderewski. This piece will be performed by renowned pianist, composer, and conductor Rubén Micieli, winner of the first prize at the inaugural ClaMo Region of Murcia International Piano Competition in 2015, at just 18 years old. Micieli, originally from Italy, has since developed a brilliant career and is considered one of the most promising artists of his generation.
